The door is opened to show her annoyed expression, eyes drifting down to the plate in his hands and then back to his face again a moment, before shutting the door in his face-- only to sigh in frustration when that door creeks back open on its own. Living on her own was a blessing, but the little place she could afford? It was less than well maintained.
There's a moment where she licks and chews on her bottom lip, looking up at him under her eyebrows, before she sucks in a breath and throws up her hands.
Loki makes a quiet noise of despair in the back of his throat. Not because of the door slamming, but because it won't stay closed at all.
He doesn't say anything as he steps into her place, merely looking around to find some surface to set the plate on, holding it with one hand while he runs the other through his hair.
"Thank you," he says, after he finds a tabletop, shoving his hands into his pockets and frowning.
